The 2019 IPAPA Converse Indiana Plein Air Paint Out

My father and I took a break from the forge last Saturday to strike out into rural indiana with our watercolors. We set out at 7am for the 2019 IPAPA Converse, Indiana Plein Air Paint out. The day was filled with relaxing painting, something I’ve not had in a long time. We had excellent weather for watercolor, the morning was damp and humid, great for washes, and the afternoon was dry and sunny, great for detail. Below you can see my paintings in the order they were painted.
